Purpose and Scope: The Journal of Freshwater Ecology is intended to be a vehicle for the reasonably rapid dissemination of current limnological information. The Journal publishes refereed manuscripts dealing with a wide variety of original ecological studies, observations, and techniques. Review articles, abstracts, and extensive mongraphs will not normally by published. |

Subscription Information: The Journal of Freshwater Ecology (ISSN 0270-5060) is published quarterly (March, June, September, December) by Oikos Publishers, Inc., PO Box 2558, La Crosse, WI 54602-2558 USA. Subscriptions are entered by the volume (i.e., four quarterly issues during a calendar year) but may be started at any time during the year. Subscribers who initiate subscriptions anytime during a year will receive all four issues for that year.
